CUMBERLAND MERIT BADGE UNIVERSITY on MARCH 7, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. The Cumberland University campus is located in Lebanon, TN., 30 miles east of Nashville on I-40 exit 238.   http://www.cumberland.edu 

Check-in will be held at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center from 8:00 – 8:30 a.m. Registration fee of $18.00  for each scout and adult leader attending is required and will be credited to your scouts account. This fee includes lunch ( hot meal served in the university’s cafeteria with a wide variety of food), patch and course material.

Each scout may select 5 merit badges from the list below according to his 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th choice. You will be enrolled in one course to earn one merit badge. Please send me your requests via email to me at marksud@comcast.net no later than Feb 17^th Once I receive everyone’s information I will turn it in as a group on Feb 18^th.   I  will receive a confirmation list confirming the merit badge for each scout after the 18th.

Once I receive the confirmation I will  distribute an email letting  everyone what their scout has received. The scout then needs to get the appropriate merit badge book, read it in advance and do any pre-requirements and bring proof of completion with him to the merit badge university if he is to complete the merit badge that day. Some merit badges may not be completed the day of the merit badge university and may be completed later with the approval of a local counselor. There will be an adult class while the scouts are in their classes. Uniform for the day will be CLASS “A”
