Poppy Sales are on Saturday, November 8th from 1:00-4:00pm.  Our Troop is sponsored by the Smyrna VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars).  The Saturday before Veterans’ Day, our Troop will be handing out red flower poppies for people to wear.  Poppies symbolize remembrance of our Veterans and the sacrifices they have made for our Country.

We are not selling the poppies, we give them to everyone to wear, but we will be collecting donations that will be given to the VFW.  This money is used to support local Veterans and their families.  This time will be recorded as community service hours.

Scouts & Parents will need to sign up and arrive at the VFW at 12:00 noon.  We will Distribute poppies from 1-4pm at various locations, then return to VFW with money & remaining poppies.

We also need a few Scouts & Parents to help with counting the money at the VFW following the poppy sales.
