Here is a report on the 8/11 Court Of Honor by Historian Max L.

Troop 422 met on the evening of August 11th at 6:30pm at First Presbyterian Church in Smyrna for our Court of Honor. Max L. and Zach B. carried in flags while the remaining boys followed. The Ceremony conducted by Ben B., Kory C. and Brandon S. opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, Scout Oath, and Scout Law, done by Max L. and Zach B.

Merit Badges were first awarded, followed by patches, NRA awards from summer camp, service stars, and then rank Advancements. Kory C. made announcements about winter camp and OA and Mrs. Treanor gave popcorn sale information. Will P. announced Fall Jamboree information and Mr. Nodine announced the new leadership roster. New leaders were given patches for their positions and the new patrol leaders were sworn in. Alan H. gave a closing prayer and families and scouts were dismissed to the fellowship hall for a  meal and dessert. Current and past OA members were asked to stay in the sanctuary to meet with Kory C.
