Hello Troop 422,

We hope that all our Scouts will take the opportunity to attend Summer Camp June 12 thru June 18.  Boxwell has a great Summer Camp Program with new activities and improvements every year.  Summer Camp is our biggest, most important Scouting event for the year.

Bring your Summer Camp questions with you to tonight’s Troop meeting!

If it hasn’t already been paid, your Summer Camp $30 Early Bird Registration must be paid into your Scout Account by tonight.  Next week the Summer Camp registration fee goes up, from $185 to $205.

Camperships are available for Scouts needing financial aid for Summer Camp.  Troop 422 expects anyone that requests assistance to first apply for a Campership from council. The Campership application form is attached to this email (Ed. Note: found in the Documents section under Summer Camp 2011).  Please print, complete and turn in tonight, if your scout(s) cannot attend camp without financial help.  Tonight is the deadline for submitting Campership requests.

The following Scouts are registered for Summer Camp and have classes selected:  Dale L, Brandon F, Cody V, Kory C, Christian B, Thomas H, Jimmy P, Collin J, CJ B, Collier N, Alan H, Reed W, Blake Y, Blake K, Jackson G.

It’s not too late to register and get into good classes, although some classes are filled.  Please note that certain classes (fewer than half) do cost extra, as noted on the Merit Badge Program attached (Ed. Note: found in the Documents section under Summer Camp 2011).  For instance, Basketry costs $16, and Leatherwork costs $10.  These fees are to pay for supplies, kits, etc.
