Did you notice the nearly full moon last night? Assuming clear skies tonight, check out the Full Moon. The moon is closer to us therefore looks bigger and brighter than it has been since 1993. Won’t be this bright again until 2029. See if you can note the difference.
Don’t expect a huge difference but it is noticeable.
“Nearby perigee moons are about 14% bigger and 30% brighter than lesser moons that occur on the apogee side of the moon’s orbit,” the NASA website says.
