Troop 422,

Sorry for the lateness of this reminder, but there will be NO Troop Meeting tonight.

Normally, the troop does not meet when county schools are out;  however, with two meetings in a row cancelled due to snow, it is necessary & important that Troop 422 WILL MEET next Monday, Jan 17 (even though schools are out for Martin Luther King Day).  Please mark your calendar and plan to attend!

For its January troop campout, T422 is going to the Trail of Tears District Winter Camporee at Camp Tubb, Jan 21-23.  Everyone that is going will need to sign up at the next troop meeting, on Jan 17, and all plans for this campout will have to be finalized that night. Also, at least one more adult leader is still needed for this outing — so if you can make it then, please sign up to go!

Nominations for the Jan 28 troop officers election will also be taken at this next meeting.  If you want to be nominated, it would be a good idea to be at the meeting.  New officers will take over on Feb 1, when current officers’ terms expire.

Feb 28 will be the deadline for turning in all advancements to Mr. Kelly, for the troop court of honor in March.  If anyone has signed-off rank requirements that need to be entered in the computer, bring your book to Mr. Kelly.  Also see him about any recently-completed merit badges, or if you’re ready for a Scoutmaster Conference and/or rank board of review.
