Scout Zachary Hodges received his Eagle badge at a ceremony held at the Stewart Creek Church of Christ on the afternoon of September 26, 2010.
For his Eagle service project, Zachary lead a team of scouts and adults in constructing a bird watching blind at Gregory Mills Park in Smyrna.
Zachary has been a member of Troop 422 for seven years. Before becoming a Boy Scout, he was a member of Cub Scout Pack 842, earning the Arrow of Light, which is Cub Scouting’s highest award.
Zachary is the thirty-eighth scout from Troop 422 to earn the Eagle award. He is the son of Michael and Dianna Hodges. A graduate of La Vergne High School, where he was very active in the music program, he is currently attending Middle Tennessee State University, majoring in Recording Industry Management.
