At this year’s Trail of Tears District Banquet on March 6, 2010, the troop’s own Roxanne Hatter was honored with the District Award of Merit, more commonly known as the Long Rifle Award.  The award is presented to Scouters who render service of an outstanding nature at the district level.  To be considered for this award, a nominee must have rendered noteworthy service to youth in Scouting, outside Scouting, or both.

Also at the banquet, the troop received both the Quality Unit Award and the National Camping Award.
