Zach Hodges Eagle Project – CHANGE OF PLANS

Fellow Scouts,

Thank you to everyone who has said they are going to come to my Eagle project this Saturday.  There has been a change of plans.  Instead of meeting at my dad’s office, we will be meeting at the Gregory Mills city park at 9 AM and work until completed.  We will be parking in the Justice Center parking lot.  They are not calling for any rain during the day on Saturday anymore and the high will be in the mid 50s, so I’ve decided that this will be a great opportunity to get most of the work done.  Next Saturday, (January 23rd) they have called for rain, so that day is probably out.

If you can come, please bring any of the follow that you can: cordless screwdrivers, hammers, safety goggles, work gloves, post hole diggers, shovels, rakes, tools for clearing brush,  chainsaw (parents only).

We will be clearing the area of brush and small trees, assembling the panels, digging holes for posts, assembling the bird blind, setting the park bench, and pouring concrete for the posts.

Please be sure to dress warmly.

We will have donuts and drinks for breakfast and will provide lunch.

The Justice Center is at 830 Enon Springs Rd E, just past Gregory Mills park heading toward WalMart.  Here is a Google map link:

Sorry for all the inconvenience.  I hope to see a lot of you there.

Thank you.
