In January, two scouts from our troop, Kyle Johnson and Ian Shaw, passed their Boards of Review and are now Eagle Scouts. Kyle’s Board of Review was held on January 7th, while Ian met with his Board of Review on January 29th.

For his Eagle Scout project, Kyle organized and led a group of volunteers in improvements to a hiking trail at Stones River National Battleground in Murfreesboro. Ian’s Eagle project involved planning and leading the construction of a bridge on a new hiking trail being created at Gregory Mill Park in Smyrna.

Since its charter in 1994, Troop 422 has produced thirty-three Eagle scouts. A list of these scouts can be found in the Eagle’s Nest.
