Shiloh Campout Photos

On April 25 – 27th, the troop camped out near Shiloh National Battleground near Savannah, Tennessee.  After a dark and stormy (and wet, for some unfortunate campers) Friday night, the scouts set out on a 10 mile orienteering trek across the battlefields of Shiloh, one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War.  After a challenging day of hiking through the woods (literally, since the orienteering course did not follow existing trails or roads), the scouts fixed Trail Burgers for dinner, then settled in for a dry Saturday night.
