Believe it or not, it is time again to register for Summer Camp.  Summer Camp is a week full of fun and camaraderie.  It is also a great time for earning rank advancements and merit badges.  Our Summer Camp at Boxwell is considered one of the best in the nation at providing a fun, safe, and rewarding Scouting experience.  Several new & improved activities are offered this year.

We are attending Summer Camp from June 8 until June 14.

The cost this year is $170 per Scout but we can save $20 per Scout and each get an Early Bird patch by completing our Early Bird Registration which must be submitted in March along with a deposit of $25 per attending Scout.  So bring your $25 deposit, save $20, and get your name on the Early Bird Registration.  Monday’s Troop mtg would be the best time.

The remaining balance of $125 per Scout is due in April along with merit badge & activity selections.  The sooner we get registered the better chance we have of getting our 1st choices of merit badges.  As usual, all campers will need appropriate medical forms signed by their doctor.  All campers will receive a Stahlman Camp patch.

There are more than 40 different merit badges offered this Summer as well as COPE, Advanced COPE, Green Bar, Rifle, Archery, Shotgun, Black Powder Muskets, water sports, etc.  Up to 6 hours a day can be devoted to merit badges, or you can have more free time to swim, fish, etc if you choose.  First year Scouts will want to take Green Bar as a Patrol to work on rank advancements.  Please discuss with your Patrol Adviser.

Please let Mr. Paris know if you are an adult leader planning to attend Summer Camp full time or part of the week.  Camping adults will also need up to date medical forms.
