On the weekend of February 16-17th, Troop 422 took a ski trip at Ober Gatlinburg in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Driving up early on the morning of February 16th, the troop set up “camp” inside the auditorium of the National Guard armory in Pigeon Forge. After a quick lunch, the troop travelled to Gatlinburg and rode the tram to the Ober Gatlinburg ski resort. After an evening of skiing, snowboarding, and pizza, the scouts returned to the armory for the night. Sunday morning, the scouts ate a quick breakfast, struck camp, and hit the slopes for another round of skiing, before returning back to Smyrna late Sunday afternoon.
The following photos were provided by Assistant Scoutmaster Paris. If you have any photos of the trip that you would like to share with the troop, please let the Scoutmaster know.
