Scouts and leaders of Troop 422 marched in the annual Smyrna Christmas Parade on the afternoon of December 2, 2007. Although wet weather was expected, the rain held off until after the parade had completed. As they marched, the scouts handed out hard candy to parade viewers and flyers advertising the troop to prospective young men. The scouts were joined by the cub scouts of Pack 842, who rode a decorated float ahead of the them. Following the marchers was the troop trailer, decorated in festive garlands, ribbons, and wreaths by the scouts before the parade.
